The "Villa Venezia" residence on Marco Island, was a dream project.... Everett Van Hoesen the developer, hired Novakovich & Associates to assist him in the plans for this home and to do all the interior design work. Mr. Van Hoesen wanted this home to reflect an environment rich in Italian history and grace. We describe the interiors as being in the "Italianate Villa" Style. The balcony on the water side, is an exact replica of the "Romeo & Juliet" balcony in Verona, Italy and the design of the interior fireplace mantle, was inspired by the "Doges Palace" in Venice. Working on this project was a real pleasure and an honor.
